Superscript in Project or Flow Title

I am copying a suite for big band, and the title of one of the movements is a mathematic equation:

I tried using unicode characters for the superscript characters in the title field in the project info dialog, but Dorico does not interpret unicode, so all I got was the code when I viewed the page, not superscript.
Is there a workaround for this?

Welcome to the forum!

It seems to work just fine if you use the actual unicode characters in the project or flow title, not the code for the characters. You also have to make sure that you’re using a font that supports those characters.

Or you just use the inbuilt text functions:

Main font is 20 pt, 0 “raise”

Yes, if you want to change a text frame directly – so this is probably fine for a project title, but not a movement/flow title. The advantage is that it doesn’t matter if your font supports superscript characters, because you’re just faking it!

(Note that in my screenshot, using Academico, the regular numerals have serifs but the superscript are sans serif. This is just the way this font is implemented.)

Yes, I know that - I was just proposing a method for fonts without superscripts.

You could just write 790,626,304…?

I guess the numbers means something clever regarding the music, but
2^21 * 13 * 29
is a better expression (it is not an equation as written in OP) with all prime factors.
And, as in music, there are certain engraving rules to follow in mathematics regarding sizes and spaces;

In a (very) far, far, distant future TeX will be integrated in Dorico…

If it’s awkward to enter Unicode in Dorico, you can type the correct Unicode superscripts (i.e. not ones made by applying a style to a regular digit) in some other text editor, and copy-paste back in the title field. Dorico handles Unicode pretty well, in general. It shouldn’t be a problem.
Edit: here you are, in plain text: 32⁴(9³+5²)

That worked! Many thanks!
