Tried a basic search for this, but didn’t come up with anything; am wondering if it’s MY setup or some sort of overlooked couple of details here.
-
SuperVision, clearly a great name for the plugin, continues to be listed as MultiScope in the plugins menu, ie, not searchable as “SuperVision”. I’ve gotten used to it, but not the greatest thing in terms of GUI and naming convention consistency.
-
If SuperVision is instantiated in a group or output bus, I have to save twice. I reflexively save before quitting-- developmental trauma-- but with SuperVision instantiated, I always get the “do you want to save” window and have to save again. I have trouble finding a practical reason for this.
Anybody else experiencing these things?

Not seeing any of that here.
I’m running an M3 Macbook Air and an M1 Mac Studio, both under Sequoia 15.3.1 and Nuendo 13.0.51.
Supervision appears and is searchable under ‘SuperVision’ and I’m not experiencing the ‘save again’ issue.
Hope this helps.

Not here either. MBP M3 Max with N13.0.51. No entries for MultiScope anywhere and just “supe” immediately shows and loads (and always has). Been using SuperVision in C14P and N13 extensively and never had to save twice. I can’t even think of a reason that would even happen… Maybe some other plugin is prompting the second save?

Thanks, both of you, for that.
BTW, I’m running an M3 MacBook Pro on Sequoia.
Both confusing and good to know that it is MY issue, and not a bug…
Am running out the door right now, and have only had a very brief chance to check things out again on my end, but did open a project to reconfirm my issue…
Interestingly, I have no “Steinberg” heading, nor “Analyzer” sub-heading.
“Multiscope” which opens as SuperVision is under the “Tools” subheading.
Looks like it might be clean install time for me; it’s been this way for several versions. I just haven’t reported it up until now. I’m guessing it’s a legacy installation issue, but we shall see.
Thanks again!

Ah, make sure when you’re inserting the effect that you’re on the “Default” Effects Group - you may have created your own custom set of FX plugins and SuperVision may not be in that one:
Cheers.

If I were not sleep-walking I’d check that out right now. But I’d be willing to bet a chunk of the farm that you are right. Didn’t even consider that.
Thanks!

And… as it turned out, I had NOT added SuperVision to my custom plugins. Just did, and it shows up just as it should.
HOWEVER… I’m still getting the “Do you want to save” message upon quitting, even if I’ve saved. If I take SuperVision out and then quit, I don’t get the redundant “save” message.
Thanks a bunch for the suggestion. Don’t know why SuperVision was showing up under Multiscope, but I’m sure there’s a plausible explanation.
So… solved and not solved! I’ll have to dig in when I have some time and see if trashing the prefs will make a difference… or anything else.
