Surpress reverb for certain range in timeline / certain notes?

I’m working on an epic piano ballad now, and would like to know what would be the easiest way to just “surpress” a reverb effect for certain notes only (so they don’t mix into the reverb of subsequent notes).

One way would of course be to just add a reverb-less track and slice my track into multiple segments intended for the reverb and the reverb-less track.

But is there a more simple solution too?

Ideally I’d want to draw a volume curve for the effect track my reverb VST is on, and reduce volume to 0 for certain segments.

Hi,

you can automate the send level of your reverb on the piano track. Given that you have your reverb added as a send which would be the usual way to do it.

In case you have your reverb as an insert on the piano track - you could also automate the reverb itself depending on the reverb.

I would suggest option A
