Sustain pedal on/off recorded in midi file does not work

I imported a midi exported from a piano scoring software into Cubase 12.
If you look at the sustain, you will see an overlap of on and off.

When played in this state, the sustain remains unreleased all the way through.

As you can see when you play this file in a MIDI player, the sustain on/off toggle works.

Is there any way to make the sustain work the same way as MIDI without having to edit each sustain individually in the editor?

Hi,

You can select all Sustain On or Off events by the lasso selection and then move the at one in the Info Line.
