Is there a way to use swing on separate tracks? I know how to disable snap and move things around or make them later, but I was just wondering.
Yes you can… You can apply any amount of quantize to any part…
hm…I’ve changed it in the editor and then came out to see the swing was set at whatever I set it to on a track. Without checking, I assumed this meant that it was a global setting.
Have you read the manual?
Just select the midi clip you want to apply swing to, open the quantize panel, adjust the swing and click apply. Or if your feeling a bit fruity tick the adjust in real time box (I think thats what it says off the top of me head) and listen to the adjustments as you make 'em.
