I needed to switch between the standard ASIO driver and the Yamaha one (in order to record some USB direct digital) and when I switched back all my VST instruments were silent. Well, they just weren’t routing to the Stereo Out. I checked all the Inspector settings and redid my Studio Setup and Audio Connections before finally finding the attribute (Target) is only visible in Edit Channel Settings
Either I am missing a trick or could Steinberg add the Target in the Inspector section, simplifying things
Better still, rather than defaulting to “No Bus”, either use “Stereo” or ask what would be the preferred Target (especially when the are dozens of tracks). Thanks
