Switch left and right locator keyCommands

Hi Guys,

Currently, to set the locators on MAC:

  • Left Locator : hold (Option + Mouse Left Click)
  • Right Locator : hold (Command + Mouse Left Click)

now if you use the Command and Option buttons on the left side of the keyboard, then no problem,

But, for the one who is left-handed like me, this is so confusing (especially when using the trackpad instead of the mouse).
Because my left hand now is busy with the trackpad, and my right hand will have access only to the Command and Option buttons on the right side of the keyboard.

So its more logical to to have the ability to switch the KeyCommands for the Left and Right Locators to be :

  • Left Locator : hold (Command + Left Click)
  • Right Locator : hold (Option + Left Click)

or maybe instead of using 2 different buttons in the keyboard, using 2 different clicks in the mouse, something like :

  • Left Locator : hold (Command + Left Click)
  • Right Locator : hold (Command + Right Click)

Thank you.

Your last suggestion actually makes really sense. I always get confused with the key/mouse commands for setting locators. Probably that’s why I rarely use that functionality…
