In an XML imported score (from Finale), for example Baritone sax won’t have bass clef in concert pitch although in the instrument Setup it is correct. If I change the clef from the first bar, the transposed will have the same, but transposition correct. In my other scores (originally Dorico) they work ok. Are there some hidden settings I could somehow remove or something else to make it work?

Thanks, but the clef won’t change with any of the alternatives, tried it already. The 8va version works ok, but I want the score in C with no 8va transpositions. The problem is somewhere else. Any of the instruments won’t change to some other clef in C.
Without seeing the file it will be hard to diagnose. The three variants work fine here…

Yes, but as I mentioned, these work fine with my from-scratch Dorico files, but this imported XML score has that problem.
Can you add another instance of the Bari (like your scratch version), copy the part to it and delete the xml import?
Your import probably imported the clef too (if it even got the instrument correct). Just do it manually. In concert pitch, input a bass clef at the beginning of the flow, then right-click it and select Clef / Transposed Pitch / Treble Clef.
