Symbol next to channel strip EQ bell curve?

In the new channel strip EQ, what does the symbol (asterisk) mean next to the parametric bell curves? I thought it maybe meant an edited parameter but it shows up when a new track is added.

I can’t find an asterisk there, but if you mean the II (looks like a quotation mark), that just stands for the type of parametric bell curve (I and II, I has no symbol).
