Synch question i think

Please help…
recorded a vocal track
when i edit the vocal part in the editor, the entire part moves backwards out of synch with the other events.
i looked for 30 min and couldn’t find the answer.
many different " lock" and “synch” problems

Then you do something that moves your vocal part I guess… something that changes the timing

I was editing in the sample editor instead of on the event editor ! I suffer from too much video editing in my past . So if you delete part of the sample the entire sample goes out of synch ( in the sample editor that is )
