Hello. There was a question about a problem. Installed Riffer and tried using it as midi effects. But alas, very strong out of sync. I looked at all the settings, it still goes out of rhythm. I checked it on D1 on the sequencer, the same trouble. Included Patterning and Riffer standalone - everything works without drift. Is the problem getting in Cubase? I apologize for repeating if a similar topic was raised. Thank you.
Hi @solncekreezes,
Thanks for your message.
So far we did not check Riffer with Cubasis ourselves.
I’d suggest to exchange with them, to ask them for recommended settings.
Of course, I’m at hand to provide them with promo codes for testing, if required.
Will drop them a message too.
Best,
Lars
Hi @solncekreezes,
Max from Audiomodern gave the issue an immediate check, and seems unable to reproduce the problem with both Cubasis 2 and Cubasis 3, here mentioning:
“Is it possible that the user has a fully loaded project running too many plugins resulting in this tempo-drifting problem? We’re interested to learn more about this but so far we’re unable to replicate the issue on our side.”
I’d suggest to get back with Max directly.
Hope that helps.
Best wishes,
Lars
Thank you, Lars. We have already talked to Max. No,I’m missing a huge number of tracks. But I had an idea-I have a Cubasis LE 3 (I bought it in connection with the UR22C card). Maybe you need a version not LE, but just Cubasis? But the midi-clock works, all the settings are fine.
I double-checked again. Cubasis is not syncing. All other apps behave well. As soon as I turn on Cubasis in Audio bus, synchronization immediately begins there. So this is the root of the problem.
Hi @solncekreezes,
Thanks for your message.
Please exchange with Max from Audiomodern, who has tested the case with Cubasis 2 and Cubasis 3, here confirming sync worked as expected.
Thanks,
Lars
