I have opened into Cakewalk and have no problems.
Most of the time though I’m using in Dorico because it can ‘read’ the score and lyrics so I can create rehearsal track for my choir. Thanks though.

Yes, I can’t find any reports from others about such crashes either. I’m surprised about this because my system usually runs smoothly!
However, as I wrote, I always use Cubase 15 alongside Dorico for mastering. I’ve tried it for hours on end—including SV 2.02b2 and 1.02 as standalone applications without Cubase and Dorico, and also as plugins. At first, I thought it was due to the size of my project, but unfortunately that was not the case. I therefore purchased a license, as the demo version is very limited in terms of the number of notes that can be rendered. On my system, it is unusable, even dangerously unstable—unfortunately—but the quality of the results is impressive.
Most of the time, I can only render one voice. But after making any further changes, I can quickly cause a crash. In the beta version, the (wonderfully good) voice doubling plug-in (2 or 4 times) always causes an immediate crash, and in the official version, rendering another voice or editing the dynamics is enough to cause a crash.

Ja, ich finde auch so gut wie keinen Berichte Anderer über solche Abstürzer. Ich wundere mich darüber, weil mein System an sonsten stabil läuft!
Allerdings, wie ich schrieb, benutze ich Cubase 15 immer neben Dorico zum Mastern. Ich habe Stunden um Stunden probiert - auch SV 2.02b2 und 1.02 als eigenständige Anwendung ohne Cubase und Dorico und auch jeweils als plugin. Zunächst dacht ich es liegt an der Größe meines Projektes, aber die war leider ein Irrtum. Ich habe deshalb eine LIzenz erworbden, denn die Demo-Version ist sehr beschränkt, was die Anzahl gereendeter Noten betrifft. Auf meinem System unbrauchbar, ja gefählich unstabil - leider - die Qualität der Ergebnisse ist soweit beeindruckend.
Ich kann meistens! gerade mal nur eine Stimme rendern. Aber nach beliebigen weiteren Änderungen, kann ich schnell einen crahs provozieren. In der Beta führt die (wunderbar gute) Stimmverdopplug ( zui 2 oder 4 fach) immer sofort zum Absturz und in der offizielle Version reicht hierzu bereits das rendern einer weiteren Stimme, oder das Editieren der Dynamik
