One of my setups includes a BOSS Gigcaster as an audio interface, mixer, and guitar effects. The FX patches can only be selected using short Sysex (less than 20 bytes) that I intend to send with a custom Behringer FCB1010 foot controller, also used to control VST Live.
I therefore created a Global Layer to route the incoming MIDI messages from the FCB to the Gigcaster USB MIDI port, but as you know, Sysex are filtered.
Do you plan to allow these messages on the near future?

your setup is very advanced indeed. Maybe that’s not what you were looking for, but there is a block/unblock sysex at Layer
Exactly, and it is blocked by default.
Btw you can also access Layer Controller Map with this button.
Thank you so much! I didn’t investigate far enough, keeping in mind a post where someone wrote that Sysex were blocked in Layers.
It is now working perfectly.
After all this time, I finally tested a first config on stage two weeks ago. I’m still tweaking it and “definitely” decided on two configurations - one lighter than the other, that I could described here if it is of some interest.
