Officially it says Win 10 or 11 64-bit. I have Intel® Core™ i5 3230M @ 2.60 GHz, but with 64-bit OS Windows 8.1, 8 GB RAM.
Will Elements 14 run on this neverheless?

Even back in C12 the installer wouldn’t let you install it on incompatible o/s.
(though confusingly the error message had incorrect version information)
So … what exactly does that mean? Will 14 run on Win 8.1 or not? (or will the installer just complain, and install it anyway?)
“wouldn’t let you install” means exactly what it says.
