I’ve just connected my Yamaha MG10XU to CUBASE Elements 10 via USB. I’m able to record (I see the soundwaves as I play), but I can’t hear the playback - so I’d really appreciate some help. In an ideal world I’d hear playback via my computer speakers, but Id be happy if it came back into the mixer too - at the moment, neither seems to work. I’d be happy to provide more details on my set up, if that is useful.

Have you set the outputs in the Audio Connections window?

This could be as easy as not having the track “Monitor” function enabled. So:
