Tab key doesn’t work in export audio mixdown overwrite dialog

In the Export Audio Mixdown window, when a file with the same name already exists, a dialog appears asking whether to overwrite it. However, in that dialog, you can’t switch between options using the Tab key.

Since I often encounter this dialog, I’d really appreciate it if we could navigate the options using the Tab key.

For reference, when you try to close a Cubase project after making changes, a dialog appears asking whether to save. In that case, you can switch between the options using the Tab key — you can tell because the selected button is outlined with a dotted line.

However, even in this “Save Changes” dialog, sometimes the dotted line that indicates focus does not appear.

It would be great if these could be fixed in a future update.

Hi,

This is not new in Cubase 15. It’s a known and already reported issue. Thank you.

…and it affects a lot of dialogs in Cubase. They have removed support for keyboard navigation just like they removed the Beat Calculator or undo for VSTi’s.
