When will Dorico allow Time Signatures to be shown in Tablature staves, whether or not there is a notation staff with it? This has been requested numerous times and shouldn’t be that difficult to add.
I put the time signature in with MusGlyphs. Not what you want, but it works.

I installed MusGlyphs, but it doesn’t show in my Dorico fonts list. It is available in other programs such as Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Word. Any ideas?
Did you try to restart Dorico (or even your computer)?
I had restarted Dorico, but not my computer and that worked. Now, how do I enter a time signature into a tablature staff. Thank you for your help. I am still using Finale when I need to be productive, but am chipping away at the learning curve for Dorico. I have saved all my Finale files (thousands) as PDFs so I won’t, at least, lose my work if Finale ceases to function.
To put a time signature in a tablature staff with MusGlyphs I use the text tool. It takes some fussing but it works. So for instance 4/4 to get the time signature and Engrave mode to move it into place.

- you probably already know that you can activate the Time Signature when only TAB is visualised, activating the Layout options>Players>Fretted Instruments>Show rhythms in tablature:
(If you have the Normal notation+TAB visualised, since the TAB has no key signature, the TS of the TAB would see a little separated, or vertically not adjusted to the main TS: so I think the design decision to not have it, in this situation was made, and also because it would be redundant. Just my thought.)

Yes, I am aware of that, and I am using Musglyphs as a workaround. I don’t care for the time signature alternatives. I frequently write with both notation and tablature for fretted instruments. There should be a feature, as in Finale, to show or hide a time signature in any staff you choose. It seems to me that it would be very easy to include in Dorico.
