Talkback Momentary Switch in Control Room

it works here as well now - I was close to giving up already because DEVICE / TALKBACK … sounded like I have to chose another value in the next column. I just found your post and I am happy! Thank you for posting this exactly the way you did!

Hi Guys,

sorry for beeing late, but it seems things have changed.
Is there a way to use momentary switch/toggle for single Tracks ?
I need to hold down the midi-button to mute different tracks.
But it only seems to work like an on/off switch. Not as a momentary / hold button.
I there a solution to make this work ?
Thanks!!!

Are we still discussing the Talkback function of Control Room?

Sorry. Not for the Control Room.
More as a mixing-function.
My goal is to mute tracks momentarily with a button from the streamdeck or triggerpads. When releasing the button, the channel gets unmuted right away. but i can only mute the track by pressing once and for unmute i have to push the button again.
Would be great to make this work!

That is the difference between momentary and toggle. You would have to change the behavior on one side—either in Cubase or on your controller (not both).

Yes you´re right. But how can i change the remote-button in Cubase Midi-Remote to momentarily ? I can not find it.

i do think thats the mode “jump” in cubase remote

i´m not in the front of my daw right now but i´m pretty certain that setting it from toggle to jump will do the trick

Yes! You where totaly right!
The reason why it didn´t work out before was because of the velocity-range. I had to change them to the opposite direction. Now it works!
THANKS!!!
