tap function in tempo track

Hey guys,
I mix a lot of non-tempo-based stuff. Of course I’d like to have e.g. 8th delay. Therefor it would be VERY helpful to be able to tap the tempo and create anchor points in the tempo track while listening to the song.

thanks but don’t you just get an average value? When tempo isn’t constant I need a tempo track that goes along with all these inconsistencies.
