Tempo option is not remembered

Hello

I use the CS12 with Cubase 14 Artist. The problem concerns the TEMPO pot. When I set another option like Playhead, that works correctly. But when I close and reopen Cubase and my project, the Tempo pot is still set to the tempo by default. My selection is never remembered as part of Cubase’s preferences, unlike it says in the manual…

Any idea ?

Cheers

Hi and welcome to the forum,

How exactly do you remap the function, please? Is this the only encoder, which is not persistent?

Hi,

I change the function holding [SHIFT] and move [Tempo] pot. Then you select an option from a displayed list. The remapping works but it seems not being persistent for next Cubase session…

This is a known issue, we are working on a way to store tempo dial assignment in ControlCore.

Presently, you have to set it each time with Cubase.

Thank you very much for your reply !

This would be AMAZING!!

One of the very few gripes I have with this brilliant piece of hardware is forgetting I relaunched Cubase, reaching for the Tempo dial (which I remap to Jog) and having my project go completely nuts.

I will say only this…

Look out for the next ControlCore update.

have been on the lookout. Soon?

Hello, I just came back to check the news but… nothing new ! :frowning:

Impossible to store the option of the Tempo dial yet

This is fixed in ControlCore v1.2.5. Please log into your Nektar account to obtain the latest version of ControlCore.

That’s it and it works like a charm !

Thank you very much

Hi @Tim_Chandler do you know when the mapping is going to be fixed?? (with Nektarine you can do less)

unless I’ve missed something, but I can’t remap my new plugins, or I want to change some parameters

v1.2.9. Please check your account
