several times, but not always, I type a Tempo with metronome mark which is ignored by Dotico…

In the Properties panel at the bottom, with the tempo mark selected, activate Metronome mark to show the metronome mark in the tempo mark.
Edit: ah no, I think actually any tempo text that includes “mosso” is treated as a relative tempo change, which don’t show metronome marks (because they’re “relative” to a preceding tempo mark). If you enter just the metronome mark, you can then add whatever text you want manually using the Properties panel again.
