tempo syncing loops

Hi

I’ve just bought Halion 6 and finding it really unintuitive and complicated to do simple things. I have imported a series of wav drum loops into one programme and have looped them, but I cannot work out how to sync the tempo of the loops to a Cubase’s tempo, they stay at the same tempo. I’m sure it is simple but I can’t see it in the manual. Also, when I save a programme I cannot locate it again in Media Bay.It seems to want to save it to a multi, but I do not know where you load that from. Is it not possible to save so it is searchable in media bay?

Hi,

For tempo syncing have a look at the AudioWarp section under the Zone tab.

But when working with drum loops you might get better results with slicing the drum loop. Then set up the slice player accordingly.

Also, when I save a programme I cannot locate it again in Media Bay.It seems to want to save it to a multi, but I do not know where you load that from.

User presets should appear in media bay. There is a filter to display either multi-programs, programs or layers. It defaults to programs.
If you saved your program as multi then set the filter to display multi programs.
