Tempo Track -Audio not slowing down

Hi,

I’m using Cubase 13 Pro and have a song which i want to slow down at a certain point.

The tracks contain Midi and Audio Vocal. I’ve done all the musical time back stuff and created a tempo track but the audio wont slow down at the point where the tempo track change was done. I’ve read up and watched various youtube videos, but nothing changes.

Midi slows down no problem but audio doesn’t.The song isn’t finished, but i wanted to hear if the slow down works ok.

Any help or advice much appreciated. Thanks

Hi,

If you set the tracks to the Musical time base, this is not what you need. Set the Audio Events to to Musical Mode, please.

Thanks for the reply. This works fine for the audio track but then doesn’t work with midi/instrument tracks

Yes, the MIDI Tracks have to be in the Musical Time Base. Aren’t the tracks frozen, locked, disabled, … by any chance?

Sorry for late reply. What i done in the end is mix track and export as wav. Then bring mixed track to a new project and put in any tempo changes. Long way round but it worked. Thanks
