These text items are bring pasted in (after which I plan to manually move them around). They have the existing property “avoid collisions” turned off. However, I sometimes still get this:
It seems random. I can share a project file if requested, but there are a lot of custom fonts in it. Of course it’s possible these are causing the problem, I just assumed unchecking “Avoids collision” would allow any text to go anywhere without changing spacing.

Hi @dan_kreider, assigning a custom paragraph styles with this settings lets me copy paste the text without spacing changes (and also without the need of manual positioning in Engrave, at least for the beginning). But this is with Academico, probably your font behaves differently…?:

Thanks, and I can work around it. It was just curious that the “avoid collisions” property doesn’t seem to be foolproof.
