HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! MAY GOD OVERFLOW YOUR CUPS WITH ALL HIS BLESSINGS AND PROSPERITY!

QUESTIONS:

  1. Is there a way to have normal Text AND System Text inside a rectangular box like in SIB?; and

  2. Is there a way to create a “Cover Page” also like in SIB?

Hey Hans

  1. Not sure what you mean by ‘normal text’ but any text created by use of a text frame can have a border. In Engrave Mode, select the frame and tick ‘show border’ in the properties. I don’t think any other text can currently have a border.

  2. Cover pages can be created in Engrave Mode. Select ‘Insert pages’ using master page ‘none’. Insert a large text frame and type away.

Hi Hans!

I might add to the great tips Vilnai sent you that you should have a look on the last series of videos by Anthony Hugues on Engrave mode (they’re like one week old) : he does explain in detail how you can create very complex and beautiful title pages or index pages. Enjoy!
