Thank you for the encouragement

I am a Finale refugee and enjoy reading many of the topics on this forum. I am particularly encouraged by the folks who love Dorico and believe it is the best notation software available. I am just scratching the surface of my learning curve, as I am using Finale regularly while it is still functional, and I am very fluent with it. I will, however, chip away at learning Dorico. I purchased Dorico Pro 5 as soon as it was available as a crossgrade from Finale, and I will purchase the new Pro 6 upgrade soon. I will admit I am 76 years old and have not been looking forward to learning a new program, but I will take on the challenge shortly. I began using Encore in 1995 and Finale in about 2002. I have written several books for Mel Bay Publishing and other publishers and am no stranger to notation software. My list of writing and engraving projects is shorter than it once was, so I have not had a sense of urgency to begin this new journey. Thank you all for your encouraging words about the ultimate satisfaction of learning to use Dorico. I will have, perhaps, some questions, comments, and possible feature requests in another more relevant topic. Thanks again.
