Thank You for Your Continued Support

Dear Steinberg Interface Users,

We’d like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your loyalty and support over the years. Since the launch of the first Steinberg and Yamaha hardware collaboration in 2008, you have witnessed many key hardware related milestones (MR, CI, UR, UR-C, UR-RT, and IXO series) in the Steinberg journey.

As part of a new group structure, Steinberg will now focus exclusively on software development and sales, while Yamaha will take over the development and sales of all future hardware products. This change allows both companies to focus on their core strengths, ensuring the best possible experience for musicians, producers, and creators everywhere.

Steinberg-branded audio interfaces will continue to receive full support and updates for the foreseeable future. Moving forward, you’ll find the same trusted quality in Yamaha’s newly branded UR MK3 and URX series interfaces.

Thank you again for your loyalty throughout the years and your continued trust in us. We’re excited to introduce the next generation of creative software tools very soon.

You can rest assured that product updates, driver maintenance, and compatibility with future Steinberg software versions will continue to be available moving forward.

All the best,

Stefan Schreiber

Will future Cubase products continue to support W10 after Microsoft stops support this year?

Thanks @Stefan_Schreiber for sharing the news. The new URX looks… exactly like my UR-C. Luckily I have a nice rare red edition

Questions - will the Yamaha URX series support Direct Monitoring in Cubase / in the Cubase channel strip, or is that a Steinberg UR series only thing?

And - I see newer Mac downloads available on the Yamaha’s page - useful for UR-C owners, or wait to see them on Steinberg’s page?

I would want an updated UR28M so much!!
