That daylight savings thing

As I sit here waiting for my plugins to be rescanned I’m curious as to why Cubase does this every time the time changes. It’s not the end of the world just a little annoying but’s it’s the only program I’ve had that does this and I wonder if i’s a big deal for Steinberg to make it go away…

I thought it didn’t do it on Win10??? I’m still on Win7, so must remember to switch on early

Mike.

It only happens on Windows, it’s not only programs by Steinberg that do that.
It has to do with the copy protection and the way Windows handles the date of the files/plugins that Cubase sees as new plugins when the DST happens.
If you disable the automatic DST change in Windows and do it manually it won’t rescan.
