The "Great Finale Migration," One Week In: Thanks

Fellow Doricians,

It’s hard to believe we’re just one week into the “Great Finale Migration”! So much activity here, and I hope the transition is going well for all.

I just wanted to take a moment to share my gratitude to Daniel, Lillie, Ulf, and the other members of the Dorico team; Ben (of the excellent introductory videos and welcoming thread); and the many sages among my fellow forum members for all of your incredible efforts to welcome and assist our new Finale friends. It’s been inspiring to see your knowledge and generosity kick into “overdrive” this week! I’m also heartened to see those new to Dorico working so hard under stressful conditions to adjust and learn so quickly, and I’m grateful for the positivity flowing in.

I’ve recognized for some time that this forum is a special place. Who knew it could get even better…?!?!

It wasn’t easy. I literally purchased Finale V27 two weeks before the big announcement. Then in comes Dorico into my life. So far I’m getting used to Dorico Pro 5. There’s just a few more things I need to learn and then I should be good with my lifetime learning and use of this product as Finale ultimately fades away from the sphere because of tech innovation that will make it impossible to run in the future. I appreciate all the help and patience received. I’m glad this forum exists. It’s very user friendly and the timing of answers to inquires is amazing. Almost immediate. That says a ton about the support team behind this product.
