I tried to run the 6.0.5 and just like all other 6.x updates, it would not run unless I ran it in ‘trouble-shoot compatibility mode’. As I’ve stated before I believe it’s the elicenser that must be run in ‘Windows XP SP2’ mode in order to run at all. This is STILL very embarrassing…please fix this for the next update!!!
Just curious, did you open a support ticket? I have updated several PCs on both x32 and x64 Win7 systems and haven’t had a single issue with having to run in compatibility mode on any of the patches. The patches just installed.
