i bought it used eLicenser so i don’y know now how can i register it under my name

Hello,

is it a a USB-eLicenser?

If yes, you would need to contact the seller and ask them to delete the dongle from their account (MySteinberg → eLicensers → Click on the USB-eLicenser, click “delete registration”).
Please note that support will be unable to transfer the license without the current registrant’s (the previous owner) allowance.

If this is for the 1st time, you have tried to activate this Activation Code, get in contact with official Steinberg support, please.

If you have activated this code already and you are activating the license to other system, go thru the Reactivation process, please.

Hi,

If you have Cubase Pro license, you don’t have to enter the Activation Code more than once. Most likely, your license has been downloaded to your USB-eLicenser already. If you want to transfer to other system, just plug the USB-eLicenser in and you are ready to go.

If this message appeared during the very first licence activation, get in contact with your local distributor, as listed above, please.

Do I understand you right, you want to change the MySteinberg account, where is the USB-eLicenser registered to?

I want to register my usb e-licenser key in my steinberg account. I have had a USB key for many years, since the 6th boxed version I have made several updates and so on. When I try to do this, I get the error described above (that my key is registered), but I have not registered it anywhere.

I am trying to do this, for the reason that I read the news that steinberg plans to change the principle of digital licensing. In this case, I would not want to buy a new update and then be left with nothing in the end

How i can contact to official Steinberg support? I can’t do this from my account on steinberg site, when i trying to “Create support request” i getting this:

In this case, I would recommend to get in contact with official Steinberg support and ask then, where is your USB-eLicenser registered to.

Hi there. I am experiencing the same issue.

I am trying to register my copy of Cubase Pro 11 to my Steinberg ID but keep getting the same message:

“This eLicenser number has already been registered by another user.”

I have a USB-eLicenser and am trying to ensure this can be registered to my account.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you register this USB-eLicenser to other MySteinberg username? Or did you buy Cubase as second hand?
