I write/arrange a lot of organ music. Don’t like the generic organ sound. In Finale I used to assign full string orchestra sounds to all the staves (works better than piano because they can sustain long note values). I’ve looked at the string orchestra template. If I could combine Vlns I&II to top staff, Violas a & celli to second staff, and Celli and Bass to a third staff (that would give me a basic 16’&8’ sound for the Pedals), it would be greaat. but I can’t quite figure how to do it. I don’t want to have enter notes first and condense. I just want three staves as described that I can save as an organ template.
