I often use beat groupings, for example the [1+1+1+1+1]/4 notation to create a 5/4 bar with the desired beaming. Sometimes I’d like to copy this time signature to another place, but I also often have a different 5/4 time signature with default beaming rules, and it can be hard to tell which one is which, especially if one of them has a bar rest. As far as I can find, there isn’t any way to distinguish them.
So I’d like to request that the team consider some way of showing the beat grouping in a time signature, if it has been altered. Maybe in the time signature signpost, or the status bar? Thanks!
