"Time stretch" with pitch shifting

Hi

I would like the pitch to be affected when I time stretch a .wav file. The reason is I recorded from a cassette player that played a little too slow, so the pitch is flat. I want that if I squeeze the wav file to match the original tempo, the pitch will be corrected.

Any Ideas?

Do a search through the manual for “Pitch Shift” maybe with tape type! ie, the length is affected :wink:

Open the file in Sample editor.
Select Algorithm/Elastique Pro formant -Tape
Audio/Process/Pitch Shift/fine tune/listen etc. :smiley:

From memory when using cassettes the tape can stretch, but unfortunately not evenly. good luck! :smiley:
