I’ve created a timpani roll over four beats that ends on the first beat of the next measure, that sounds like a timpani roll, but when I add the pp<ff dynamic, all that happens is the roll starts pp and then the down beat of the next measure is ff.
I thought this would be played back as expected. Am I missing something?
