Title Page Tokens

I’d like to be able to have the arranger’s name below the composer’s name on the right side. I have typed in the arranger’s token {@arranger@} but the arranger’s name isn’t appearing. That name is in the arranger’s box on the project info page, so I don’t know why it’s not showing up. Also, I added the word Comp. in front of the composer’s token, and it appears on the score but not in the parts. Clearly I’m missing something here. I’ve watched the videos and though I had it figured out, but it’s obvious that I don’t. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi @arranger2, it seems that you edited the layout directly. It is suggested to edit the Page Template itself, instead (if you are using Dorico Pro).
You need to edit the First page template for both Full Score and Parts and add your tokens there. Remove all page overrides first.

Which version of Dorico are you using?

(If you like, post your Dorico file and we can give precise steps)

Here a useful video (for you issue, starting at 16:30):

The token for the arranger is either {@projectArranger@] or {@flowArranger@}. depending on which one you want.

The score and the parts use different template sets. If you want to make a change to the parts, select a part in Engrave mode and edit the template there (which should belong to the Default Part template set). That change will then be reflected in all parts.

I’m using Dorico 5 Pro, and I just watched that video. That’s why I thought I’d done it right. Guess not… I’ll re-watch it right now. Thanks for your reply.

One tip: to insert the tokens, instead of typing them (which can lead to errors, as @asherber points out), just right click (while you are in the text editor, inside a text frame while editing your Page template) and choose them from the menu.

It took me a few tries to sort it out, but I’ve finally figured this token thing out. Thank you, so much, for your help.
