To interlude (sort of like to coda) then to D.S. al fine

Hi all,

I am having problems finding exactly what I’m looking for. To start, I’m a recent convert from Finale and I would have understood what to do for this there. Now, I’m trying to copy out a violin part from a voice/piano book. In the book they are using “to interlude”, which to me looks like a coda in the middle of the piece. The interlude is after a 2nd ending with a fine and the d.s. al fine takes us back to the top (almost) and goes to the second ending. How do I do that? Thanks in advance! I’m sure it’s in the manual somewhere but I can’t find it.

Hi Chris, welcome to the forum.

I think you are looking for Repeat Markers.

Please come back to the forum if you need more specific help, but if you need step-by-step instructions, an image of the result wanted might be helpful

not exactly but close enough. Thanks!

You’re welcome.

BTW: If you place a Segno, you could give it a custom text in the properties
