To use different time signatures in different parts

There is no need to add text and position manually! Hidden tuplets is in fact the right way to do this. With 3/2 it’s almost the same as I explained here recently with 12/8 (click the link):

4/4 measure in 12/8

Quick course: With a prevailing 12/8, enter your 4/4 as 4/4,6 meaning show 4/4, but with a pickup bar of 6 quarters (to match the bar length) In the next bar in the same instrument add a 12/8, and hide it. Now the barlines line up. Write all of the 4/4 music using 2:3 tuplets, and hide those Let us know if you need further details!

The only differences are:

• Hidden 3/2 instead of 12/8 in the following bar, and
• Use a 2:3h tuplet in each bar instead of 2:3e.
