Toggle "click while playing" on/off while always keeping "click while recording" on?

Hello! I’m switching over to Cubase from Logic Pro and was wondering if there was a similar metronome feature that can toggle the metronome on/off while playing, but always be on when recording without having to go into the metronome settings or enable when recording/disable the click when playing back each time.

In Logic, I can always have “Click while recording” enabled, and then have to press the key command to toggle the metronome on/off during playback.

I checked key commands and tried to set up a macro, but I don’t know if it’s something that’s possible yet in Cubase. Thank you!

I would really like to see this too. I often listen to the click while programming legato sounds, but I always want in to be on when recording. A simple keyboard shortcut to toggle the checkbox in metronome setup would do the trick.
