Hi,
I am still on Dorico 4. I’m trying to set up my pages for a project, and initially had copyright only showing on p. 1. I want copyright on all pages.
So I added the relevant tokens to the Default page template, and copyright appeared on all other pages … except it was removed from page 1! Even though the copyright token is still there for the First page template. I am pressing “Apply”.
(I also added a subtitle token to the First page template, and likewise that is not showing.)
I attach a screenshot of my tokens, and hope that will reveal what I’m doing wrong.
EDIT: It looks like the upload tool isn’t working!
Thanks,
Isabelle
Well, the tokens look correct in the screenshot. So the next thing to try is post a copy of your project (you can delete the music, if any) so we can examine how things are set up.
Thank you Mark for responding. Here is the Write screen:
and here is Project Info:
I have accidentally added all of the info into one of the subsequent flows before, instead of under the Project in the info dialog. Did you perhaps do the same thing? I spent MANY minutes when I ran into a similar issue, and as I was writing my issue on the forum, is when I recognized I had all of the information under the Flow 1 section.

EDIT: It’s early for me… and I may have misread some of your issue.
Thanks Robby, I’ll check that.
I’ve also just noticed I have a page override (red triangle) on p.1 … but cannot trace why it is there. But have read that overrides can create problems with tokens.
Overrides absolutely can interfere. Especially if the override was there before the changes.
Robby
I’ve just removed that override … and lost the title as well now! But I did get the copyright back
Do you have a small excerpt you are willing to share, for us to see what is going?
Robby
On the page, right click and apply master page change to current page only, and select First page.
Robby
I’m not averse to that, but just checking whether you already saw my second screenshots above?
I did… I think somewhere, if you had several overrides, that somehow the master pages (page templates) got out of sorts.
Robby
Where do you mean to click on the page? I tried on the page thumbnails on the right, and also on the main page itself, but none of my right clicks were giving me the option you suggested.
Here:
In Engrave mode, right click on the “page”.
Click Insert page template change. Then select ‘First Page’ and this page only.
Robby
It’s early for me, and the memory doesn’t work as it used to. So I am sorry if some of my phrases don’t line up exactly as Dorico says it.
Robby
That’s it! Thank you. So basically that was telling the reading of the tokens to “catch up” with changes I’d made?
I would say correct. If you have things setup in info, then make overrides (for whatever reason), and then add more to info, the overrides prevents the new information from being displayed.
Robby
Glad you got it worked out.
You might want to mark the topic as resolved. That way if anybody finds this in the future, they might be able to track down their issue as well.

As is often the way with things, I half understand! I will read up on overrides, as that’s my Achilles heel I think.
Thanks!
Hi again, sorry to extend the thread, but for the same reason of not confusing other people, I thought I should come back and say … I just noticed that the contents of page 1 have also now been duplicated, and the duplicate bars are linked to the the original bars. Sorry, I didn’t notice this before as I was so chuffed to get page 1 displaying correctly
