Yesterday saw the news that Tone2 was kinda pulling back from synthesizers. Lots of really sad stuff. People are pretty nasty. I pray he is well.
In relation Halion: I like to create sounds in Icarus and try to match it with Halion as Icarus sounds “electric” and less dull than most VST. I’m not sure how he’s pulling it off, maybe the psychoacoustics they mention?
I think it would be cool for Steinberg to buy Tone2 and give those powerful synths a new home and put them under the Halion umbrella. Keep one of the best synth makers in the game.
