TOOLS for CI2 Update

Hello,

today we released updates for the TOOLS for CI2 (Windows and Mac). The TOOLS for CI2 now support the newly announced CI2+ along with the CI2 and additionally include the following revisions and enhancements for Mac:

V1.1.0 to V1.1.1

  • Improved the stability of Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver on a Mac with an Intel Core i series processor.
  • Improved the following problems:
  • When using a device compatible with Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver on a Mac with an Intel Core i series processor, recorded audio data might be briefly interrupted.
  • When using a device compatible with Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver on a Mac with an Intel Core i series processor, noise may occasionally occur when playback starts.

V1.0.1 to V1.1.0

  • Now supports Steinberg CI2+.
  • Now supports Nuendo 5.

For Windows users the TOOLs for CI2 now include the current Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver and the Steinberg CI2 Extension for simple installation.

Please note that the current driver is not compatible with Mac OS X 10.6.5 and the installation is not recommended.
We are working on an update to solve the issues.

Any idea when this might take place? It’s been several months now.
