Forgot to mention. Take of the auto select (tick) It will improve the function drastickly (Fix the issue) 
You can do that in the setup menu on the mackie control. This should reduce the issue too dirty faders and bad touch.

It seems Mackie does really weird things. It sends Fader move (Pitch Bend) data even after it sent Fader release (MIDI Note Off). That’s not very healthy. :-/
It is not known to be the best controller in the world 
But that behavour I dont have on my old mcu. It stops instantly sending pitch, when note is off. Faders lock and if the engine is on, it will fight me all the way. That behavour might have something to do with the new alpine fader algo?
The one thing I finaly could remeber, was that I never used the tick function in cubase. So when I took it off, the mcu behaved just like any other controller. Guess it helps a lot, not reciving a million note off messages when using 2 or more faders.
