Track Duplication Color Bug in Cubase 15 (Color Inherited from Folder Instead of Original Track)

In Cubase 15, when duplicating a track that is inside a folder, the duplicated track takes on the folder’s color instead of inheriting the original track’s color as it did in Cubase 14.

System Details:

  • macOS Sonoma (latest version)

  • Mac Studio M2 Ultra

  • Cubase 15 (latest build)

Hi,

There is a new Preferences > Event Display > Folders > Apply Color of Folder Track Automatically. This is set to Always by default. Set it to Never.

Btw, if it’s set to Always, it will also change all the children tracks color, if you change the parent Folder track color.
