Track List - Greyed out tracks

Help please. Never seen this one and I can’t find a reference in the manual.

What does it mean when the tracks in the tracklist are ‘greyed out’.
It appears that these are inactive tracks and none of the track controls work and the audio will not play back although the audio peak files are displayed.
These appeared on a project I loaded from SX3.

How do I reactivate?
