Track Number Not Rendering

I have the track number set up like @TrackIndex@ in the Metadata/ID3 v2 tab but it doesn’t appear in iTunes or any metadata application. I’ve also tried @TrackIndex@/@NumCdTracks@

I also looked using Mp3tag and MediaInfo as well.

What am I doing wrong?

Does it appear in WaveLab, when you open the rendered file?

I always do @TrackIndex@/@NumCdTracks@

For me, it doesn’t show up in Apple Music with WAV files, but does for mp3 files.

In the app called “Meta” that I use to check things, it does display the track number even for WAV files.

I don’t think Apple Music/iTunes can display the track number and most metadata from WAV files like it can with AIFF files and mp3/AAC.

OK, yup I see it there. I just thought iTunes would be able to show it since this is an m4a file, but I guess not. Thanks for responding.

Thanks Justin. I does show up in WaveLab. I thought iTunes would be able to show the track number of an m4a file, but I guess not.

I used Mp3tag to edit the AAC metadata and it’s all showing now in iTunes.
