In Cubase 10.0.10 all Track Pictures and Plugin Screenshots become unreadable, they where smooth and clear in all previous versions… Now they look ugly, really…

Yeah, your pix do look different. No idea why that would be. Are you by chance on a Mac because those folks are seeing some display issues? If so there are several threads on the topic.

There is another problem. When there are plenty of plugins that have pictures, then the [FX] folder opens long enough. Pictures of a fairly large size (located in the Documents\Steinberg\VST Thumbnails). For a long time they are loaded into RAM
Replying to this as I also noticed that all the screenshots are strangely pixelated. Coming from a graphics design background who has worked with developers using graphical libraries to generate thumbnails, I can tell that these screenshots are scaled down using no interpolation at all - simple pixel-repeat scaling.
It also exists in Cubase 12
This can have advantages with performance as it takes less resources. But maybe it could become an option that we can switch on or off?
