Track Preset. Why different folders for Multi save?

What is the design point of the following

I save on a single channel and save a track setting to a folder saving it into an Artist->Songname folder structure so I can find it when I open the next song to mix

When I select multiple channels on the mixer (say 8 drum groups) and then make a save there is an entire other Directory strucutre for multiple channel saves…

why?..

Hi,

To keep it organize? To don’t mess-up files?

Whether its multi or single channels on the save they should be in the same folder. A Multi save has no bearing of how many channels are saved in the preset anyway. The user must memorise that or mark it clearly in the save name. At present I have to maintain two directory strucrures for track preset saves… single channels and multi channels… … I dont think its intuitive or useful
