after saving a track preset in my case for a VI , can I open and edit the meta data of the saved . vstpreset file via the Mac OS ? or even in Cubase (but I couldn’t find anything in cubase)

not sure what I am doing wrong , I can see my Instrument in MediaBay , but can seem to add a attribute ? was hoping to select multiple Instrument and add a type
Have you activated the right panel ? In it, you should also activate the attribute panel, using the highlighted tool below :
And yes, I just tested it : you can select several .vstpresets in one pass to change their category. But the UI is behaving in a rather clumsy way (they have never fixed it…). So, don’t hesitate to go in another location and come back in the involved one : it usually helps…
