Track Versions, Audio Comping Tool - Good ways to interact?

This vid Cubase: Music Production Software | Steinberg shows that you can change lanes to track versions, and vice versa.

Has anyone spent enough time with 7.5 to notice how using Track Versions might change the way they do audio comps anymore?

For example, are people doing cycle record for a new lane still, then comping? Or maybe it’s better to somehow do the different audio takes in Track Versions (for some reason?), then convert to lanes later to do comping?
